Manic Monday was released in January, 1986...that's 30 years ago. Where did that time go...I am getting old. :22yikes:

Prince offered the song to The Bangles under the pseudonym "Christopher." It peaked in the U.S. at number 2 in April, 1986, being blocked from the number 1 spot, ironically, by Prince and The Revolution's song "Kiss".

I was working at Information Access Company in Belmont, CA and getting letters from the University of Minnesota Law School that if you did not return this Commitment Letter by such-and-such a date I would lose my spot in the Entering Class of 1986 (Class of 1989) . Stressful times and it has not gotten any better since then with my relationship with that Law School at least as far as stress in concerned. My 224 613 Project does seem to be going a great deal better though maybe because I believe some powerful voices have decided to join me in what I have been trying to do for survivors/victims of crimes. There are a lot of politics at law schools. And Facebook is perfect for showing many people documents like those I have put up on my Taltarzac725 Photobucket array.

My cousin Tom married his college sweetheart who came from Edina, MN. They kind of talked me into trying the University of Minnesota Law School and I was always very attracted to blonde females even if I usually wind up with a redhead or brunette. That very large family in Edina was of some help the 5.5 years I was in Minnesota.

I never checked out Prince's mansion while I was in Minnesota as his music such as I knew it was not to my taste. I did not know of the many songs he wrote by artists who were more to my rather tame taste in music.
