The Upward Bound Club will meet the second Thursday of each month, 10:30 AM - 11:50 AM at the Laurel Manor Recreation Center - Monroe Room

Details: Upward Bound will focus meeting and socializing in a fun atmosphere with people who have a positive outlook on life, and who are interested in personal growth and success, whether in sports, hobbies, performing arts, business, or relationships. For the January 8 meeting, read for discussion all prefaces and Chapter One of Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill; available free online at www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/tagr.htm . The club meetings will utilize materials from great thinkers, such as Jim Rohn, Einstein, Trump, J. Paul Getty, Vince Lombardi, Goethe, and others; group discussion; and some intriguing, or fun, interactive or self-improvement activities. We will have a short break mid-meeting for socializing. Guest speakers will also speak at some meetings.
