2014 Yamaha EFI ??
 

Every day when I back the cart out of the garage for the first time the red charging light comes on briefly. Usually goes out before shifting to F.

Today however, the red light came on, stayed on for about a minute going down the road and then went out.

The cart is less than 4 months old from the dealer.

On a gas EFI the light on the dash is an oil light, check your oil and if its not low get the low oil sender checked.
