Lawn Service

Has anyone used Superior Service Landscaping and if so how satisfied were you. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a good lawn service. We currently have "Massey" and now realize the incredible prices they are charging. We have to go to a different company. Thanks for the help:bigbow:

Use Zoysia green for treatments, we use Ambest for mowing

I found this guy who is very motivated to expand his business does top notch quality work and spends the extra time to do a good job
Hes not a extremely large company trying to get to 50 customers done in a day,so he really spends the time to do it right
Give him a call for a estimate

When we moved to this home from Hadley four years ago we started using Mike's Maintenance because the guy next door did and he was quoted an O.K. price. When we talked to the Mike's Maintenance person who had been with them since they came down from Michigan with the Morses, he said if we ever have a complaint to call the office because employees would come and go as was common in the lawn business. We did what he said and we have been very satisfied.

Before that we had a guy named Earl and he was great for four years.

We just hire lawn cutting and fertilizer. We trim bushes and weed ourselves. Well Sweetie does, I water a few flowers in pots.

You refer to "Superior Service Landscaping", so not sure if this is the same company, or if you got the name wrong a little, but we use Superior Services of Fla. (Trucks known by 1-800-PestControl) for all of our lawn fertilizing, lawn & home pest control, termite warranty, and sprinkler system service. They've been great! Used them over a yr while not moved in and never had an issue. They always called or emailed if we needed to know about something. Packaged up all their services for a pretty good deal.

For mowing & shrub/tree trimming we use Laster Lawn Care (Troy Laster, Prop.) who also does a great job and doesn't just cut to cut. They also do full scope of landscaping/planting and hardscape work, as well as irrigation system install/re-work. We will be using Troy for all the work to go with a pool/patio project. His cell # is (352) 598-0242. Good luck!! :)

Thanks for the Feedback

To further illustrate my concerns. We have a corner lot which is not too large and essentially no backyard or yard on opposite side of house. With this as the background we are paying Massey $67 one time a year to arrigate, $67 5 times a year for Landscape
Applications, $65 4 times a year for pest prevention. If you add this all up it is $662 per year, plus lawn moving for another $660 (12 months @ $55 per different company). Therefore the total cost is $1322 plus about $150 for termite control. This all seems really high and I have to get other service(s). Thanks for all your feed back and I will call them to determine what I would be charged with their service.
