How are you going to enforce a ban preventing transgenders from using whatever toilet they want? Look up their dresses? Some women appear rather masculine; some men are rather feminine to begin with. Add make-up and who knows. Adam's apple examinations? Also does not always work if this person had had surgery and/or various hormone injections.

There is little practical consideration here just a religious based fervor which also looks very much as having little to do with the Golden Rule of doing under others as you would have done to you.

I wonder how you will feel when high school boys enter the girls locker room, take photos with their cell phones of school girls in the shower or undressing and then posting it on the Internet. Once it is on the Internet, it is ALWAYS on the Internet. And I wonder how those suits will go when parents of those girls start suing the schools and the gov for this. Yes, a lot of to-do about nothing.

That's an entirely different issue of where does a transgender go to the toilet as that involves a crime committed by these boys which should be prosecuted if they have the evidence.

We are talking about where someone who looks like a member of the opposite sex should be able to go to the bathroom.

You wait...it won't be long before the horny HS boys DO figure out...if we ALL say we're transgender we'll all get free reign of the girls locker room and shower. All the kids will be doing it, there will be no shame. I think everything will just end up going co-ed.

That is NOT a "different" issue. It is part of the WHOLE issue with the NC law that you seem to think is trivial.

Common sense says, you use the restroom according to your plumbing. It can't be any more simple than that. If someone wants to dress up and pretend to be something he/she is not, then that is a mental issue and should be addressed, not encouraged. Some folks need some common sense knocked into them. If it has to do with locker rooms, then the same thing applies. If you don't want to abide by that then get your parents to get you excused from athletic participation. For crying out loud people, are you stupid or just a loonie as the trannies?

It is not at all simple. Many women look more like men and vice versa. And if you bring hormonal treatments into it then it is often very hard to tell what kind of plumbing a person actual has.

If some person is bent on rape or some other sexual crime they often do not care what plumbing other people have.

Did you not hear the Gov of NC speak in reference to school locker rooms? How many young girls are going through "hormonal treatments?" Besides, why do liberals insist on absolutes for every statement that anyone makes? There are always exceptions, but that does not give anyone an excuse for not doing something to protect the majority. It is about time that the majority had a say in their rights too. And this is a country of majorities regardless of what you liberals try to push. YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE RULES TO CODDLE A SMALL GROUP, at the expense of penalizing the majority. PERIOD!

Transgenders are mentally unstable and should not be encouraged. They should know that they are abnormal and they should be taught to live with whatever was given to them. I can put a spray tan and a afro wig on, but I will still be what I am. If you were born a male, you will always be a male, regardless of dress or sex change. You may look like the hottest momma out there, but you will still just be a crazy old man in a dress. A flat chested broad with facial hair does not make her a guy. So, be gay if you wish (and that is abnormal also) but even though you can fool those around you, you can't fool yourself or God.

Ah...that's the part you don't get. Most liberals are women and a few "girly boys". They believe that EVERYONE should have an equal opportunity. That they SHOULDN'T have to "accept and live with" their disability. That's what you don't understand.

Women are "inferior" to men in most respects, they're jealous, they get laws made to artificially "equalize" things so they can fit in. That's what liberals do. That's what women do. "Equalize".
