Renting golf cars

Where can you rent s golf car and how much is the daily rental? Thank you

2 seater, 4 seater, 6 seater ??????

You can rent from The Villages for about $25 per day.

Don Cunningham rents carts as well. Since he delivers and picks up, he might want a longer rental. We rented from Don, but it was always at least one week. Don is great.

Highly recommend Don Cunningham. 352-391-2564 or 352-272-9924.

Agree that Don is great. The first year we were here we rented from the Villages golf carts. Very basic and very slow. There is also Geno Golf Carts, (609)*598-1709, have rented from him over the years and very reliable. He also picks up and delivers. I'm sure there are others but those are the three with whom we have experience.

Rent Me Golf carts - Don Cunningham

Rented a 4 seat gas golf cart twelve days ago from Don Cunningham for six weeks. On day of delivery, had to call to remind him as he had completely forgotten about our rental conversations. We had thought we'd try his company after reading all the positive comments on TOV. The cart was delivered and afterwards we found it did not have a working speedometer, odometer, or gas gauge. The cart also had a very strong smell of gasoline. Overall the condition of the cart was fair. Not in good working order or well maintained. After nine days, we contacted Don with our concerns and with no suitable exchange or compromise that he could offer, the cart was returned the cart to him and we received a partial refund.

Nine days before you contacted him?

It could be that they were simply trying to be fair and live with all of the issues, but then reached the point where they couldn't.

I have to admit, I personally would have called them and complained after one drive.

In addition, if they were renting during high season it could be that they weren't successful in finding too many others that even had carts so they tried to tough it out.

I think the poster has a lot more patience than I ever would, in a situation like that.

I used Larry @ 352-459-1192 last winter. We made a deal that included 2 weeks in December, we returned to Ohio, then 4 months Jan. thru April. When first cart was a bit slow, he changed to a better one while we were away for several days in Punta Gorda. I would rent from him again next winter.
