:welcome: to TOTV.

You can't be free but there are several performers you will really like. I like:
1. Motown and More, (Rick Melvern).
2. Uncle Bob's Rock Shop.
3. Rocky and the Rollers.
4. Johnny D and the Starlighters is a band that people have been raving about.
5. Joe Carter
6. Clark Barrios especially when he appears with the Atlantic City Boys. Appeared once at LSL.

Please add to this list..........

Smoken torpedoes. Great blues.

Scooter is a must see.

Like Yogi said: "people don't go there anymore---too crowded". Here in TV, after a couple of years, we do go to the Squares less as we are more "picky" about who the entertainers are. Nothing against line dancing but I've had enough for a while. Heck, I even get tired of too much golf. Moderation is a virtue.

Mark Seymour / Second Slice.

We were at the square the other night in Sumter landing and it was fine. I wouldn't call it overcrowded and Scooter was there.

What would you be posting if there was no entertainment?

If you all remember Yesterdayze out of St. Petersburg, the band at Brownwood tonight is very similar, it's Paisley Craze, and I believe they are also out of Tampa/St. Pete. I've seen them twice before and if today was such a long day for me I would be there tonight.

They perform the more psychedelic songs of the late 60's and early 70's, a little change of pace from Uncle Bob, who is more straight ahead rock. Their music ranges from Santana, Spirit, Hendrix, Beatles, CCR, Doors and so on, song list below. They also have a female lead singer like Yesterdayze. Here is their website PAISLEY CRAZE

Just got home from seeing, "The Band 4 Play". First time playing The Villages but will be in Brownwood on the 28th of June. They play everything from oldies to top 40 and do them all well. It's a 5-piece band that features 2 exceptional ladies. Give them a shot - you won't be disappointed.

First saw Paisley Craze two years ago at the Great Race in LSL. They were excellent, and since they are from the Sarasota area I thought they were here for the special event only. They are a treat to listen to and a couple of Janis Joplin tunes really made me a fan. Looking forward to seeing them on the 20th in SS. And don't miss Johnny Dee & the Starlights in Brownwood on the 18th.

I must second that about The Band 4 Play - excellent! As are Second Slice!

I second that vote! The Band 4 Play - One of my top bands - as well as Second Slice!
