The Dixie Highway Comes to Florida | The Florida Memory Blog

How many have traveled up or down this? That as it is known quiet some time ago? I recall pieces of it in Lake County, FL.

Always thought the name Old Dixie Highway in Fruitland Park was kind of odd (where's the New?). Nice to know it is a true part of history rather than just someone's whimsy.
