Sam's Club Gas
 

Mr. JoC (Al) tells me that the gas station at the new Sam's Club on 441 is open. He paid $1.799 today for regular.

Thanks for the head's up. Was that with Sam's Club discount?

You can't get gas at Sam's Club unless you have a member card, so yes! You have to scan your member card at the pump before you can even get the gas.

Sams has a preview openining on the 21st from 5 to 830pm. got a card in the mail for it. then grand opening on the 22nd. About time..

When we lived in Tampa we always filled up at Sam's Club. Gas prices were always 5 to 10 cents lower than any gas station in the area. Yesterday, I filled up at the new Sam's Club and paid 1.799 for gas. I then drove south on 27 and found Race Track and several other stations at the same price of 1.799. One place under the name of Pure was 1.779. I became very disappointed in Sam's pricing when I can buy elsewhere at same price. What gives?

At the Pure station, the $1.799 price is a CASH only purchase. If you want to use credit or debit cards, it will cost you $.03 to $.05 more per gallon. The cash price is usually listed in very small lettering. I am not sure about Race Track. They do pride themselves as having the lowest price around.
