Insulin Tresiba Questions & Drs
 

Looking for an endocrinologist. Dr Mersey is supposed to be very good but he is booked until Sept. My primary is suggesting either Dr Banda, Dr Habashy, or Dr Fish. Would like a dr that will listen.
Have had diabetes since 1993. Recently having trouble with morning fasting BG levels. I have been on Levemir. Has anyone used the new longer acting basal Tresiba? What has been your experience? Any help on above drs would be helpful. I have to let primary know which dr I want to see. Thanks Barb

I absolutely recommend Dr. Hamilton Fish. He has a stellar education and background. Two caveats, he is not on campus, but a little drive to Leesburg, and he will listen and be helpful, but is not warm and fuzzy. I was five minutes late on the day we closed and was reprimanded. He has never been one minute late.

When he gets to know you, he is witty and warm, but not a hugger. I prefer smart.
