Winter in New England
 

It's winter in New England
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love New England
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave New England
I'm frozen to the ground!!!

How true how true,

I keep getting weather reports from friends and family up north and I've decided not to go back. Im freezing here at night I cant imagine what it feels like up there.

If you can't imagine what it feels like (Nonie, you've just blanked it out!) let me tell you. Go outside and it hurts to breathe, your cheek bones ache, and your runny nose immediately freezes. Not pleasant, not pretty. How oh how have they managed in Alaska?
