Need ride to Sanford airport!
 

May Day May day !!!911 911!!!!

I have called Villages Jitney,the Villages Shuttle, and numerous private transportation services to take Engr. Guy to Sanford airport tomorrow morning @ 4:30 AM. I am really getting desperate. Jitney has not answered their phone in days, The shuttle does not leave that early and all the private car services are booked!!!

Now you wouldnt want to see lil ol me have to get up at 4:00 in the morning and drive hubs in the cold and dark wee hours of the morning and then get totally lost comming back home.(I know I would) (Without a doubt).

Does anyone know of any other transportation services that I could try???

Nonie, I suggest you do a search on airport transportation. There have been many names suggested in previous threads.

The last limo driver we used was: Mike Ritchie 352-753-5000.

Or, for $300, I'll get up at 4 AM and drive Bernie to the airport! :laugh:

This sounds like an adventure to me...I would be happy to get up and ride to the airport with you....together we should be able to find our way home.....then we will stop and have breakfast. :icon_hungry:

Nonie.... No doubt the least expensive way is to rent a car. We found that less expensive than these other avenues of transportation to the airport. There's an Enterprise Car Rental in LSL and Bernie could rent a car there and turn it into the airport. Worth a try....

Thankyou all so much for your kind offers. The girls 4:00AM party sounds like fun but Im afraid Im incoherent (sp) and very grumpy at that hour of the morning and you would probably want to lock ME in the trunk instead of Engr. guy.

I did find a very dear friend who has volunteered to take him so all is well. Once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Very few people do early mornings well. I am among the annoying few. I would love to see you grumpy Nonie. I am close to canonizing you. I would have loved to do this. I hope you aren't fibbing, because you might think it would be too much trouble for me or Blondie. (Isn't she a peach?)

We are heading to TV in early June to see our new home. I have been reading all the threads about shuttles and I have one comment to make. I hope when I get there I will have the privelege to meet some of you ladies. Noni, Graciegirl, Blondie, Kathie and the rest of you are amazing women. I see your comments and offers to help on many other threads as well and I am so impressed. You are wonderful. Can't wait to get there and look for you in the square or somewhere.
