Sonny's BBQ is a done deal
 
The lease is signed, I got the word from their management today, read tomorrow's Sun for details. Projected opening will be in May/June.

Yep, that's what the Belleview Sonny's manager told me on 1/10/09. Glad he wasn't hallucinating.

Does anyone know if this will be a "full service" Sonny's such as on Route 44 in Wildwood (i.e. it has a bar) or just a BBQ restaurant without a bar (as are the majority of Sonny's)?

In case you might have missed the Sonny's on SR44 in Wildwood is CLOSED.

Signs are now posted in the windows of the former Whiskey Creek stating that Sonny's BBQ is coming soon.

Sonny's management told me that they hope to open in the may/june time frame.
