Walmart Express

I was under the impression that Walmart was putting in a Walmart Express on 466A across the street from Colony. Today I read that Walmart is closing ALL of it's Walmart Express stores. Has anyone heard anything about this?

If you do an internet search I believe you will find that Walmart Express and Walmart Neighborhood Market are two very different entities.

A Walmart Neighbothood Market is being built on 466A across from Colony.

It's a Walmart neighborhoo store and not an express

Seems you might be getting your Walmart operations mixed up a bit. Walmart killed the Walmart Express experiment way back in Jan. 2016 (not sure why you just read it, but it may have been an old issue of a paper or magazine somewhere).

Their Walmart Neighborhood "grocery-only" stores are still going strong and expanding, one of which will be going in at the Colony Plaza location on 466A you referred to.

Here are some pics of what's going in at Colony:
Walmart Corporate - Photos of Walmart Neighborhood Markets Hope that clears things up a bit.....:)

I wonder if that store will have gas pumps?

I hope it will have all food items available at Walmart on 466. I dislike going up there, but it's the only grocery store that has every item I want. WD has most things, and Publix has some things. One place that has everything would be great.

We have several of them here in the Raleigh NC area. None of these have gas pumps. These stores are mostly pharmacy and grocery items

The ones I have been in seem to have basically taken the grocery / pharmacy sections of a Walmart and placed them in what they call the Neighborhood Market.

I love Walmart neighborhood markets.
All grocery items in one place.
No more having to traipse around the whole store.
