The words "private" and "Facebook" are not compatible.

Actually, Facebook's private messages can only be seen by you and the person sending them.

That's certainly the way it's supposed to be. And we know nothing ever goes wrong with online stuff. :)

Well, of course, there are exceptions to that I suppose.

To each his/her own, Tal. But putting personal information anywhere online has an inherent risk that will never be zero. I simply think it's prudent to not put personal information anywhere online unless it's absolutely necessary and done with due diligence.

I agree that Facebook is a well run company. It's the folks that put private info on Facebook whose actions are questionable in my opinion...not Facebook.
