Just wanted to Thank the Sumter County Sheriff's Office for all the good work they do here in the Villages and in surrounding areas.

So true, Tal. I just wish they would get more support from our leaders.

So as not to get political, I agree with you in that area.

I do hope that is something that will change in 2017.

I wish they would get more support from our residents; there hasn't been much complaining about LEO's lately though, some of the most vocal privileged/entitled must not have gotten stopped.

I stopped watching Lopez's Shades Of Blue" the moment the show revealed it was about crooked cops because I am sick of Holllywood's continual depictions of crooked cops. Conversely I was angered when I learned about the abuse by the Starkey Police Dept on Route 301

I certainly do not remember anything but overwhelming support for law enforcement here in TV.
