Summer Kitchen Gas Grille Repair

I have a gas grille that is part of a summer kitchen originally installed when the house was built. It has a large tank buried in the yard - it is nearly full. Haven't used it since 2012.

The grille will not light. I have tried everything I know and whatever the problem is, it's beyond me. Called Suburban Propane but they won't make a service call because I'm not their customer. Tried Amerigas in Ocala, but they want $165 just to come out here. Heritage in Leesburg who originally filled it is no longer in business.

Does anyone know of someone reliable who can find and repair the problem?

Thanks

Take a look at the igniter, most of the new ones use a AA battery and some electronics to generate a high voltage spark to light the gas. In the Florida heat and humidity, these do not last very long. If it is quiet, you should hear a slight clicking when you press the igniter button. In most cases, the button will unscrew to give you access to the battery.
Hope this helps.

Fixed.
Igniter never was involved since I was using a long 'candle stick lighter'.

I got a reference for a fellow who worked for Amerigas for 30 years. He came out for $85, located the problem right away & repaired it. It turns out that my regulator had failed and did not allow gas to flow. Since my unit was installed, the code changed and my unit was out of code. Doesn't have to be corrected but no one is allowed to work on it without bringing it into code. So he replaced the old defective regulator with a new one added a second one where the line goes into the lanai.
