Well people tell you don't use anyone out there that you don't know well guess I should have listen. I use a add from the paper that said he does plumbing license and ins.I needed two faucets replace charge was 178.00 paid him he leaves, since Monday had under the sinks leaks call him back he came back 3 times never to fix the leak, call again he got nasty started swearing hung up on us yes we had to Mike Scott to fix both sink another 173.00 but he got it fix Thank you Mike Scott. And for Ken Keefe I hope you enjoy your 178.00. And all who read this go with the best. Not the money hungry people out there that all they care about is making some side money they don't have to pay tax on. Where do I go for Senior against Crime.?

Use real tradesmen for plumbing, electrical & HVAC

Licensed can mean many things, business license, plumber, which one. Always ask and understand handyman may not be so handy.

Another good resource is this website. It can be used to verify the existence of a contractors license, or lack thereof. Keep in mind certain occupations do not necessarily require licensing.
