cable vs satellite..
 

dumped comcast,long time ago..have directv for three years now...had a problem with THEIR equipment..called and they said they would send repairman for $89.95..I said it's your equip. They didn't care...looking for a deal on dish now...switched to dish in NY last year..got free dvr...anybody check out the ad for satellite in Mon paper??:

I was a 25 year Comcast customer until last month. I switched to the Embarq triple option with TV from The Dish. With 3 HDTV stations in the house I am saving abouth $40 per month. That's great but even better is that the service is much better for TV and phone with the DSL internet service clearly adequate. I gave Comcast two different opportunities to "do something" about their pricing and their response was that it seemed as though I wanted satellite so I should get it. Thanks Comcast, I couldn't be happier.

its a rip-off be careful.
