Why is it with her lower than anybody in any office ratings, as many if not more-repeated gaffs, constant abuse of office, pork promoter, wide spread dis-like by even her own party, complete disregard for we the people....yet she gets no bad press and gets to keep her office.

Is she testimony to what is really wrong with our lawmakers and why there ever be no bipartisan cooperation or progress? I think she is.

Just one of the many. No real change will ever be accomplished with tenured road blocks.

And the best news? She is third in line for the position of president. So consider a terriost attack that uses a dirty bomb in downtown DC with her on the west coast. Real likely scenario. And she is your new President. This is what the voters of this country gave us in the last election.

Having said that, she is a nutcase. I think she might be possessed by Tom Delay.

As for no bad press, they do show her speaking etc. once in a while and that's usually enough bad press.

bimmertl. A small nuclear bomb going off in downtown Washington DC is the MOST likely scenario for a terrorist attack. One of the top 3. And if you don't believe it will kill everyone in at least a 5 mile radius then your the one that needs to do your reading. And I would be very happy to talk to you about it as that is one subject that I happen to be very well versed in. So please don't say it is Prue garbage unless you are the expert. And your not.

According to an interview with Politico, Cheney says it's number 1 or 2 between nuclear bomb and biological attack on a major American city with DC being number one on that list. I still have to assume he probably has more insight and knowledge then us.

His quote from the interview.

“the ultimate threat to the country” is “a 9/11-type event where the terrorists are armed with something much more dangerous than an airline ticket and a box cutter – a nuclear weapon or a biological agent of some kind” that is deployed in the middle of an American city.

I think that Chelsea only commented on Cheney because one of the statistics earlier in the thread said that Cheney had said a dirty bomb was the No. 1 or No. 2 threat. On Pelosi though, I agree she is bad news and I hope Obama can control her. She just stokes the fire of partisanship. And the only way we can hope to see things improve is that everyone gives a little bit, tries to see the other sides points, even a bit, and working together can bring about change. I truly am hoping that Obama can achieve all that and keep the trouble stirrers (Pelosi) under control.
