Why am I still seeing the posts from someone that is still on my ignore list?? There is 3-4 posts and are showing on my page.. Is it because they are a sponsor of TOTV? :confused:

I don't know, but it seems like your own guess could be the answer.

You will still see their name, but you shouldn't be able to see what they wrote.

I just have one harasser on my Ignore List. His posts only show up if someone quotes them. Otherwise I just see his name. I am pretty sure this poster is a man. Few women post such junk. I would not know this person though if he were right in front of me. Kind of puts me at a real disadvantage because of how much posting I do on TOTV. It is not hard to figure out my real name and other information. All of us Top Ten Posters probably have that problem of no longer really being anonymous.

Just for the record.. I did not put this person on ignore because of anything they did or harassment..I was just tired of seeing the same post but with a slight difference every other post.. selling a beauty product.. I am already beautiful !!! LOL.. ( yes, it is late and I should be getting my beauty sleep )

I don't know why it bugs me but it does. Plus just thinking about a bikini wax makes me want to scream out.

It's irritating when they post the same post on multiple forums, so it shows up multiple times on the "new posts" list.

I also don't rank "top 10" posters on quantity. It's quality that counts. Anyone can rack up the post count by replying to their own post 9 times.

Not just beautiful, you look so young in your picture.

It's hard to rack up posts to the tune of several thousand posts. Those that have more posts have taken the time and energy to comment on subjects that mean something to them over a long period of time. Some long time posters have made friends through this forum and quite a few posts, were kidding around with each other when the forum was somewhat new. I also like to think that long time posters still feel they have knowledge to contribute to the forum, that newbies rely on.

On the other hand, if a posters quality is berating each other and resort to name calling. If that what is called quality, then I totally disagree. It is amazing the people who resort to derogatory comments, haven't made any friends on this forum. It's the price one has to pay for "my truth is the only truth or I am telling it, like it is".

I had one person on my "ignore list" when he was active and his name appeared when he posted, with no commentary, which was blocked. Since then, he has left the forum.

Let's agree to disagree respectfully.

Poster don't mind being taken for granted but they hate to be ignored:D
