Restaurant deals in the summer
 

Some friends once told me that in the summer you don't have to cook at home, because there were great deals to be had at restaurants. Just came down for a few weeks to check out what TV is like in the summer (besides hot/humid), and am wondering if that is true and where the great deals are.

Sonny's has a $7.99 lunch special which includes a drink. Entre, two sides and bread. I think the ribs might be a bit more. Still, a great deal. Runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.

Bonefish has a 3 course meal deal on Tuesdays for $15 and bang bang shrimp is $6 on Wednesdays. I love Bonefish!

Bonifay 2 for 22
 

Just read in today's paper that Bonifay has 2 for 22. There is a nice selection of entries to pick from. Can't remember if an appetizer or dessert is included in the deal. A lot of the country clubs have deals going on in the summer to attract more business.

Sign up for all the restaurants web sites like Bob Evans, Square One, Johnny Rockets, Cody's etc. and watch the ads in the Daily Sun. Plenty of coupons this time of year.

Honest John's has 1/2 off burgers on Mondays and BOGO meals on Tuesday.
City Fire has nice nightly specials.
Cody's has 2 for 1 fajitas on Wednesdays.
Lots of nice early bird menus.

I think the 2 for 1 fajita special is the best deal in TV. IMHO

Went there last Wednesday with a party of 5 and the bill was $75 including tip. I also had a dinner to take home. Reheated and had for lunch today. :mmmm:

You gotta love it!

I'm a left over junkie. LOL Love it when I can take something home. :)

Ha ha, I meant BOGO. I'm so used to saying BYOB that I confused them. I thought it looked funny when I typed it. :1rotfl:

Chili's has a $10 special right now. Limited time and I don't know what that means. You get a salad or chips and salsa as your appetizer. Three different types of burgers are offered with fries as your entrée. And then the molten lava chocolate cake for dessert. Great deal!
