You should have three choices, CenturyLink (our phone company), Brighthouse and Comcast. To speed up your research, here's what has already been said.

Comcast / Xfinity offers 30Mbps for $29.99 per month or 90 Mbps for $39.99 per month. Brighhouse and CenturyLink are also available.

If you're interested in Comcast, give us a call. We're Comcast dealers.

How long is the $29.99 special good, and what will it go up to when it expires? I currently have Centurylink for internet and phone. My TV is with Directv since 2008 and I have no desire to change, I live north of 466A off St. Charles.

Another happy Brighthouse customer here. Our sales rep, Lysander Jimenez, worked with us to get the best deal possible and quick installation.

Just watch your bill closely after the first 12 months with Brighthouse.

I will be coming up on 12 months soon, did your bill go up after this period. I wasn't told one way or the other. Please e-mail me if you have the time, and let me know @ jcarriker@cfl.rr.com

Internet

I started with Brighthouse at our house in Hillsborough and have continued it in Pine Ridge. I work from home when I am down here and have had great connection speeds and throughput. Anytime I or my wife have contacted Customer Service they have been very responsive and helpful. Often, they solve the problem over the phone, but if not, they will respond in person, sometimes even on Sunday.

As for the bill, it is my experience that most of the big cable carriers will raise their prices yearly unless you have some kind of 2-3 year contract with them that locks you in. You are always welcome to call and discuss with them that new customers are paying less than you are. They will often work with you. You shouldn't have to but, that seems to be the industry.

I bought into Brighthouse as an unknown moving from Illinois. I have had Comcast, DirectTV, and ATT. Not one of them demonstrated the customer service of Brighthouse. Now that Charter has purchased them I was concerned that might fall off. In 2014, prior to the Charter merger, Brighthouse was reporting through polling to be number one in customer service among major internet providers in the U.S.

I do not know if that still holds true statistically but I can say that we are very happy with their service.

We have been a Brighthouse customer (phone, internet, tv) for more than three years. Although our monthly tv service has gone up about 7% since original commitment but we have not had to “watch our bill closely”.

Brighthouse does not require a commitment, you can quit them anytime. And they have an office in Wildwood. We have gone there twice to have a remote and a STB replaced. Quick and easy. NO waiting.

System uptime has been excellent.

We are just a satisfied customer. No other connection to BH

I have bright houses , at 50 mpb . It usually drops several times a day when I'm using my I pad. At that speed it should not happen. It was 20 mpb before and no problem but brighthouse upgraded the system so they automatically put me at the new 50mph.

I am considering using Brighthouse in my new home in Fernandina. I will be using DVR and several TVs. Were you satisfied with service and internet speed. I will need 100mps or more. Has it been reliable? Comcase says on their website that they dont cover my area (near Bonifay). Could this be true? Are their rates for TV/Internet/Phone competetive?
Interested in your opinion. thanks
