If you are able to do this yourself there is an excellent product you can buy ............. Clorox Clean Up. This is a specialized Clorox product and you cannot buy it in a local Publix etc., but I believe either Lowe's or Home Depot carry this.

I was told about this product just yesterday. I had a couple (Mr. & Mrs. Fixit) doing a job for me yesterday and the subject of cleaning tile and bathrooms was discussed and they told me about this product.

Evidently you either spray or wipe it on. Close the shower door, close the bathroom door and leave it for about half an hour. Come back and use your hand held shower head to spray down the whole shower and wash everything down the drain. You may have to do this step more than once if the bathroom is really in a bad way.

If you Google "Clorox Clean Up" it seems there are several different bathroom cleaners all named Clorox Cleanup. Wonder which one you're referring to that works wonders with grout?

Thanks for that information, did not know there was more than one and I was intending to get to Lowe's to buy some. I will try to reach Mr. & Mrs. Fixit later today to see if they know.

Sears Home Cleaning has a bath Tile clean up for only $79 or $99 depending upon the size of the bathroom.

Spray Mold Armour (available at Ace) leave it and rinse with hand held shower.

Clorox Cleanup has been available in supermarkets for years. It does a nice job whitening your sink but doesn't do much for stained grout

if you have lots of tile...

Contact Dirty Grout be gone 352 259-0091.

They cleaned our whole house for $99.
If you want it sealed, they will give you a quote.

They work really hard. I highly recommend.

I hope" Dirty Grout BE Gone" has gotten new equipment. We had them about 3-4 months ago and they had hoses leaking, Compressors would not work, and the HI-pressure rotating power heads to clean the tile broke down. Three years ago they did a great job, but they are not taking care of their equipment and the frustration shows with the employees and moreso the clients. With some investment in newer equipment, these guys would be a great deal for title cleaning.

Sorry to hear that as Adam has always done a wonderful job for us. He is a really hard worker.

Adam is very fair and his employees have always been eager to help and his prices could rarely be beat. All I am saying is that he could capitalize on this with better maintained equipment.

jnieman 07-20-2016 11:06 AM

You are probably right. Hopefully he has gotten it fixed as it surely did a great job cleaning. I had another carpet cleaning co. come and clean mine recently because Adam was booked and they did a terrible job. They used hard brushes on a big round machine and it didn't get down into the grout.
