7/22/2016 Attempted Platelet Donation.

Seems I have some difficult veins in my left arm to use for phlebotomists' needle sticks. That and supposedly if you are nor properly hydrated that is also a problem.

I will take another stab at it soon.

Up to 12.125 gallons now and I did get a few rewards for attempting to donate. And got to joke around with the staff there.

I do dumbell curls (25 pounds) everyday to keep my veins as large as I can. Really helps.

I should try that.

Fun group of staff at the Villages One Blood.

I did a little work with some ten pound barbells before donating yesterday. It was successful. Seemed kind of busy. Up to 13.375 gallons now.

And 5 platelet donations so far this Summer. Hope I get to the sixth without any trouble.

I was there at 10:00 yesterday, what time were you there? I'll be back in 2 weeks, always on Friday at 10:00

About 12:30 PM was when I got on a chair.

I have to take Beau to some dog park or other before I get there as well as have lunch and the rest of it.

A pooch is great therapy though and sometimes helps with all the anger built up from the many set-backs I have had with the 224 613 Project. Google Taltarzac725.

I hope Juanita is still working there? She is kind of amusing at times.

There were 3 people waiting for chairs when I was done. I left about 12:20

We probably passed one another at some point.

This is me with my dog Sport from around 2013. Picture taken by the very amusing Grace. Someone I always enjoyed talking to a great deal. Sport passed in April of 2014 and we got Beau about 5 days after that.

My 224 613 Project seems to be known by the staff at One Blood unless I am mistaken. I sometimes read people in a much too positive light.
