Clubs

Is there a list of all the clubs and contact names in The Villages somewhere?
Possibly online?

Here it is:

I WISH that someone would arrange the club lists so if you are looking for something in particular, you don't have to sort through all the clever names, like Dastardly Dinglehoofers etc.

Gracie - I have Adobe Acrobat Professional on my desktop, so when a pdf file opens, I get automatically get a search function. If I am interested in a certain subject, I just type a key word into the search block and it scans the entire document for me. Very helpful in searching long lists like this one. Most computers come with the Adobe Reader, and I'm not sure if the reader has the same seach function. After you click on the list, do you see a box in the toolbar that says "Find"? If so, just type in a key word or words (i.e., Dastardly or Dinglehoofers) and see if the system finds what you are looking for. Good luck . . .

I THINK I understand, but what if you are looking for a cooking club and they are all wild names like Epicurean Episodes Etc??? Will it scan entire blurb?

You would have to guess on the keywords. If the clubs have strange names, chances are you wouldn't be able find them in a keyword search. But if the subject is something reasonably simple, like "Democrats" (pun not really intended, but I'll take credit for it anyway), you can usually find it by using keywords.

There. My point exactly. I think that the Democrats go under the name of Dastardly Dinglehoofers. I wasn't looking for them. I call myself a painter and the others call themselves artists. I can't find them under either. Anyway painters/artists club, the one at Colony Cottage is full. I wonder if Grandma Moses had troubles getting going.

Well, I wish you luck in satisfying everyone with the order of your new list.......the last person making the list pleased all but one.
A month or so ago posters were complaining there was no list, now there is a list and still complainers.
