Sheriff's helicopter
 

This morning between 4:30 a.m. and about 6:15 a.m. the Marion County sheriff's helicopter went round and round and round and round and round the Chatham District. Has anybody heard why that might have happened.

Why is anyone up at that time of the morning? I usually go to bed around 3-4am cause I have run out of things to do around the house.
Nightworker for over 40 years is a not an easy bodily habit to break.

I just saw the helicopter about an hour ago too. What's up? :shrug:

A couple of months back we were golfing on Pelican and the same thing happened. It turned out that a resident with advanced Alzheimer's had wandered off.

Could he have been searching for a train which illegally blew it's horn?

There was a helicopter flying around Lowes and Walmart on 441 late this morning... just circling around gradually on a northern pattern. Don't know if this was related or not...

I'm told the cops are trying to locate Hadley. They heard it's "party central" and they want in on the action. :pepper2: They're also trying to pinpoint the homes of the ladies who don't close their curtains at night. :icon_wink: They're going to list GPS coordinates for their buddies.

This morning's Daily Sun mentioned some action out your way early Thursday AM. It doesn't mention The Villages but refers to Summerfield.
