Attention Utility Customers of Village Center Service Area (VCSA)
 

The U.S. Envirnonmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a new list of 30 unregulated contaminants to be monitored by public water systems once every five years. The intent of the rule is to provide baseline occurrence data that the EPA can combine with the toxicological research to make decisions about potential future drinking water regulations.
These tests were performed on utilities with less than 10,000 customers, therefore only VCSA was reported within The Villages community. During the month of August, customers of VCSA will have a notice on their monthly bill with additional information.
