The difference!

We have had a few home owners ask us what the difference is in one of our competitors filter system.

They offer a double cartridge system, for $460, their elements are 2" X 10"
one of those is a paper constructed sediment with a capacity of 30 microns, (first pic, the other is coal based carbon weighing in at about a 1/4 lb
they need to changed every three months. at a cost of $59

Ours is triple with 5" X 24" cartridges. second pic
Ours has two sediments removing particles as small as 10 microns (theirs is 30)
Our carbon is coconut shell not coal carbon and weights in at over 8 lbs (theirs is a 1/4 lb)

Our carbon has smaller pores capturing more of the unwanted elements in your water.
Our carbon is of such high quality you no longer need your refrigerator filter that alone offsets the cost of our replacements
at $125 a year. (theirs is $59 x 4 or $240 + fridge filters )

Our filters last about a year, 9-13 months depending on usage.
They are $125 to change out.

We also install two pressure gauges on the system. third pic finished system $495

In the pics below we are replacing one of theirs because the home owner wasn't satisfied after a few months, in fact it is the 16th replacement we have made.

See the comparison pics

The difference!

Nice work ! But I notice the original installation included a bypass, hose bib as well as brass isolation valves.

Ricky, correct, we redid all that piping into a tighter install.

the third pic is not the same home.

We have been using this triple design for 18 years, never had failure, it is a heavy duty commercial.

So we don't install bypasses unless the home owner wants one.

The reason for the bypass on the twin canister systems is they have had multiple failures here in TV, in fact, if you search you can read about one such incident, (which I replaced).

If you just pickup up the unit you feel it's very thin wall extrusion and light weight.

I thought you wanted to stop over and take look at my install in Fernandina?

Couldn't make it last time around. Hoping to be full time in the next 6 months. A bypass is always a good idea, just in case.

So the cost of filter replacement has gone up to $125 from $95?

How much to just buy the replacement filters from you?
