8/19/2016 Platelet Donation. One Blood.
 

Had a very good needle stick by Blanca at One Blood yesterday except for a slight bruise at the end.

While donating I was watching Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger.

For the first hour or so the Spanish captions were on and I read them OK. Then Blanca tried to fix it for me and they started speaking Spanish. A little harder for me to understand with no captions. Then she had it in French without captions. Easier for me two understand with my 2.5 year of college French then she finally got it right.

Heard "Show Me the Money" with Spanish captions quite a lot in one scene.

I will need to watch the rest of Jerry Maguire after borrowing it from the Lake County Library System.

I go again on Wednesday. I changed my day from Friday because of the long lines. Mary said Wednesdays are usually very quiet.

I have been there on some Wednesdays. After 12:00 PM usually though.

There were some long lines after the 6-12-2016 murder spree in Orlando because of people wanting to help with the victims. Those seem to have died now.

Where are you donating? Is it in the Villages? I'm trying to avoid the buses. I need someplace in The Villages or Oxford. Thanks!
