Is Hometown Quality Services out of business? We have a contract with them and they are not responding to phone calls or emails. I had to contact my credit card company to get a $595.00 refund they owe me. Still working on it....

I have the same situation. Numerous calls and e-mails no response. No one should ever do business with them.

Called hometown to find out when my lawn and shrub work was scheduled, they answered as A Step Above lawn services and the person said hometown is out of business and they have taken over their contracts

Contact the Sumter County Office of Seniors Vs Crime. They have been working with several residents who had problems with Hometown and will be meeting soon with management of A Step Above, a company that MAY be assuming some of the yard maintenance work from Hometown.
