New Whirlpool Microwave/rangehood recall...
 

Hello folks. This just came to my attention. It was issued by the Consumer Products safety Commision this weekend. It is too soon for me to know yet if any of these are in The Villages.....but it will only take a minute for a person to check their's....

Thanks for the heads up, just checked ours, not in the recall (house built 2013, microwave also 2013 version).

Nice catch, Frank! Thanks for the heads up. At first glance, it appears our WMH755xxxx series microwave is not on their list. I filled out a form on the Whirlpool site anyway with Model/Ser. Nos. and sent it in for verification just to make sure. Thanks again! :)

Mine is on the list. Our home was built in the spring of 2014.

I did not want to alarm anyone....but the pictures appear to be just like the ones we see everyday, but I would rather be safe than sorry....

I just completed the installation of a 53520 about 20 minutes ago. What a surprise. But fortunately, the one I installed carries a serial number begining with 621............. I'll check it out with Whirlpool tomorrow but I'm pretty sure this one is not in the recall. Bought it at Costco and it was built in May 2016. Sounds like the recalled models were earlier production.
