We're on our way
 

Well, we successfully closed on the sale of our house in NY today (Wednesday) and will be heading for The Villages tomorrow AM and expect to arrive sometime on Saturday.

It has been a long and winding road; the help and support of this Forum has made some hard times a lot easier.

Arrival put off another day, car trouble (we think someone is kneeling for us, Brooklyn peeps know what I mean).

Garden City South? Say goodbye to the best pizza in the world, changing seasons, no humidity and access to the best culture in the country. Florida is nice, but NY is New York!

I think by your listings on the bottom of your post that you might live in St. Augustine? Well gotta say this. The rest of Florida is nice, but The Villages are The Villages!!

We don't have the best Pizza in the world, and we do have humidity, ah but the people, are smart,warm, friendly, funny,silly,outrageous, hilarious, interesting, busy, like no other group I have ever met, looking increasingly younger by the day, full of p--- and vinegar, and love,loyalty and friendship!!

AND we have Katie Belles!

And just to be a bit of a contrarian....


The best pizza in the world is in New Haven, Connecticut (Pepe's, Sally's Modern... whichever you prefer) on or near Wooster Street. Check out the license plates from all over the country after all the Yalies leave every summer. And much as I DO love NY - there is no city like it in the world - the humidity in the summer is horrendous.

And speaking of Katie Belle's - Rocky and the Rollers were incredible last Friday night!
