Microwave exhaust fix

Just ordered a "Microvisor" it extends a small hood that attaches to the bottom of the microwave--should stop the rising steam that covers our cabinets

Sounds good... I'll look into getting one when we return this fall.

What first post are you talking about?

I saw one of these at a home in The Villages I inspected about a week ago. It solves the common complaint of fumes/steam not being sucked up into the exhaust. I was impressed.

This is cheaper then replacing it with a better LG model that has the vent hood coming out when in use.

Here is the link the original poster was referring to;

Thanks for the info. Just ordered one at Amazon. Will be here some time next week.

TNLAKEPANDA 09-03-2016 09:32 AM

Exactly how far out does it extend?

Chatbrat 09-03-2016 09:38 AM

approx 61/2"--go to the website and or youtube

Topspinmo 09-06-2016 01:36 PM

Does it vent to the attic or outside? Or does in not vent and captures internally/ filtered?

Chatbrat 09-06-2016 01:57 PM

go to youtube and look it up--it captures steam/smoke & redirects it to the microwaves exhaust fan

Just got it, installation time 2 minutes, tool needed a phillips head screw driver and most important--it works
