Premier Home..! amazing
So when we were carting around the new builds, we happened upon the new premier development in Fruitland Park.
Gorgeous area with lake views and all, we happened upon a Augustine that was totally built and we both thought it was to be a show home because it was stunning to say the least. The pool area had 3 fire pits, one was actually inside the center of the pool. The other next to the swim up bar that included a full kitchen and TV and the last down by the lake. We were floored. So anyway, it came on the market today. $1,757,321........ OPEN HOUSE I decided to do a tax estimator for fruitland park, lake county.....$30,500 a year, and that doesn't include maintence and the bond....dang.....or the $145.. I want to win the lottery so I can have that home.....Amazing property..... only thing bad about it is the neighbors are kinda close.....but I could make due.... OPEN HOUSE TODAY.....you gotta go see this one.... |
Thanks for the heads up! We better check our lottery ticket from last night.....mmmmm....don't think we bought one....oh darn 😩

I noticed in the paper today they had photos of two premiers that are open off Moyer Loop and they showed the inside of one. It had a beautiful kitchen, but what caught my attention was the white cabinets. I've been looking at inside photos of new homes, designers and CYV's for a few years and haven't seen white cabinets in a long long time in a new home. At least someone in the design department has wised up, to me a white kitchen is the best looking, especially when combined with stainless steel appliances.

Went to thus open house, also, this morning. It is a gorgeous house! Did not really care for how it was decorated but still very nice.

I also heard that in a few new models they had gray cabinets. That is the latest thing. |
Best mansions we built in NJ had cherry cabinetry--if you want to see some of the projects I was involved with--before I retired -Go to The Downs Group website

Our house here is dark wood--we didn't want to look like everyone else

I can't imagine paying those kind of prices in The Villages in addition to a bond and those taxes, but that's just me. Isn't the Augustine just another name for a Bridgeport or is there a difference? |
Those two homes are models and not for sale at this time. They are both very nice but..... for over 1.5 million, the first one had Homecrest cabinets in the kitchen and didn't even have decorative end panels. It also had generic level 1 granite countertops. For that kind of money, (if I could even afford it) I wouldn't want to re-do the kitchen first thing. Just sayin'. Oh how the 1% lives!

Up north we have oak cabinets, doors and floors, oh my!!!!

They are both beautiful and will shelter you against the heat and the alligators and the geckos. You can be equally as happy in either or as miserable as you like. The key is living under your income and with your glass half full. |
If I had $1.8 million, I wouldn't spend it on a house! Just dreaming here, but i think I could have a mighty fine one for, say, $500,000. Then I would hire many services, such as Molly Maids, or maybe a housekeeper/cook.

I beg to differ, but I think the geckos own our lanai, they just let us use their space and we thank them for that:bigbow:
