Bad Memory

At one time I was able to ad a photo to my classified ad. I seem to have forgotten how to add a photo. Any help would be appreciated.

You asked for a reply by email but the one time I did it I found the program guides you along. Did you watch the video tutorial on creating an ad? FWIW, I just wanted to mention that the program won't upload images over 3 MB, so be sure to check that and resize if you need to. Also, if you have more than one image to upload, the one you want to appear first should be uploaded last as the program puts them in reverse order, at least in my case.

Two things that had tripped me up in the past. First, when you click on the attachments, the window that comes up for browsing the attachments, is minimized, and some of the buttons do not show, grab the right side and expand to the full width. After hitting the browse to find you photo, hit the open button, then hit the upload button.
The second one is if your photo file is too large, you will not get an error message, it simply will not upload, even though it looks like it worked. The only solution I have found is to take another photo with settings on your camera to take a much lower resolution photo, or use separate software to reduce the size of the file.
Hope this helps.

In Windows Photo Gallery, click on the photo, click on "Properties," select "Resize" and choose one of the size options. "Medium" worked to post a photo to the ad.

Carla B,

A BIG thank you, I had not noticed that feature before, will try it.
