He is still one of my favorite military leaders.

Colin Powell is all about protecting the Bush family. He wants to see Jeb as president. He also said he could never vote for clinton.

Which was before he became a political puppet as secretary of state.

Most flag rank people out of neccessity (so they say) become political.
When Powell was a 4 star in desert storm he demonstrated leadership and doing what was right.

I am surprised at your admittance of Obama's strength in military matters. But, after all, he is Commander-in - Chief. And evidently an astute politician.

Powell does not like the Bush's. Why would you say that? He backed Obama because he is a racist. I liked working for him, but lost all respect for him when he endorsed the idiot Obama not once but twice. I could have forgiven him for his racist bias the first time, but not the second time after seeing how inept Obama is.
