New home--Sealing grout on tile?
 

We've just purchased a new home and have always sealed the sanded grout to keep it looking uniform when we installed tile previously. We understand TV will not warrant the grout if sealed. Shall we wait the 1 year warranty out on the grout warranty by Tv then clean before sealing a year from now. What have the rest of you done who purchased new homes?

Don't know why sealing would void the warranty

Never sealed mine. It matched the tile. Just use my floor-mate couple times a year. There is some darker grout in traffic areas but you have to look for it to notice it. Been here 12 years.

Thanks! Seemed odd to me that sealing the grout would void the warranty but not sure how important the warranty on grout is in the first place. Guess I might look into a floor mate. What did you wax your sinks with village dreamer?
