Has Anyone Closed in an Amarillo Kitchen???
 

I do not particularly like the "open" kitchen in our Amarillo Ranch and am desirous of getting rid of the snack bar overhang into the LR & DR and putting up a 3/4 beadbord wall there to close off the kitchen from the LR. We'd leave the island (would put on new countertop) and existing bottom cupboards and add some overhead cupboards on the new wall. The top of the wall would be open leaving the vaulted ceiling exposed.

Has anyone else done this? If so, are you pleased with it?

I understand the earlier Amarillos had the option of having a closed or open kitchen but for some reason they stopped doing that.
