Please Don't Invite the Thieves
 

This has bugged me for a long time and I saw it again yesterday. Please, if you are leaving town on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and your trash pickup is on Monday, have someone put your garbage out for you on Sunday night. Putting it out in advance just says, "Hey, nobody's home....come on in!" This also works, I guess, for those whose days are not Monday & Thursday....same concept.
