Carson Springs Wildlife Foundation
 

If you are interested in a day trip out of The Villages consider the Carson Springs Wildlife Foundation near Gainesville about 90 minutes away. 25 different Species of wild animals, many rescued. Normally a 2 hour tour (which is great if you have a group) needs to be pre-arranged ($25 per adult tax-deductible donation), but on October 22nd their annual OPEN HOUSE is held from 10am-3pm.
