Century Link Issues??
 

We just tried to use our land-line (we live in Amelia) and it's not working. Anyone else having issues with their Century Link. We have computer and t.v. access (we've got the bundle). I know someone else had posted a similar question a couple of days ago (we were fine then). JUST what we need during a storm!!! Fingers crossed our cells keep working!!!

I have had an occasional problem with my phone line with Centurylink. I have found that if I call my number with my cell phone it makes the line live again.

I tried what was suggested (call my # using my cell) and the land-line rang once but then "nothing". So something is going on that's weird.

Just heard that there is an area outage AND it will NOT be fixed til tomorrow. ?????????? Wonder what's up with that?!

I tried to call my sister in Orlando at 8:30pm last night and nothing happened. I thought it was on their end. Didn't realize until I got two calls around 6pm tonight that rang once & quit that I had no dial tone. I called Support and was told it was an area-wide outage & would be fixed by 5pm tomorrow. I told her service has been out since last night so why is it taking so long to fix? Of course she had no answer for that. Internet is working fine.

Happened to us last night. No dial tone and no incoming calls. It was working when I got up this morning.

My landline went dead last night, I put in a call and reported. They said they had received a few calls from this area. It was back to working this morning.

Same with us

I'm in Amelia and still have no service. I even had trouble calling the 800#; took me 4 tries to get all the way through to a representative. I told her I have not had service since sometime Wednesday, what was taking so long???? Thank God internet service is working. :024:

Ours still isn't working! Saw on another social media site that they were told they wouldn't be fixed til Tuesday. Say, what??? It's been out since Wed. night and that will make it nearly a week!

Ours went out before the storms (early Thursday) and we were told it would be fixed by Tuesday 10/11. This is totally unacceptable!
