We got up this morning to find a paper---a DRY paper---in our driveway. Good job. Thanks.

In Lake Deaton ours was in the driveway around 3:00 am. Great job!

And to the stalwart and tired broadcasters on all of our four local Television Stations that gave me something to do instead of pacing.

They did their best and they managed to find enough to talk about for more than 24 hours and I do think that their warnings and advice and experience doing this before kept a lot of people advised and safer.

They (at least mine)...do an excellent job of delivery. :thumbup:

In this day and age, it still blows me away that you can have your paper delivered to your driveway, 7 days a week/52 weeks a year ...for $67! :eek:

I just renewed and as usual, added a $30 tip for the delivery person.

About 8 cents a day for the job he does...is still a tremendous bargain. :ho:

We didn't get ours but I didn't expect we would. Kudos to the delivery people who were out there in this horrible weather this morning.

"Can we pass the buck and blame Hurricane Matthew? To ensure delivery before the worst of the weather, we started the presses a wee bit early, which caused us to miss the Cleveland Indians 5-4 Game 1 win over the Boston Red Sox in AL Division Series.
We'll have Game 2 and beyond of this series."

I like the fact if one goes away for several days, you can stop the paper and your subscription is extended.

For what one is charged, the delivery is very small price to pay, per copy!
