I have had it with the pharmacy counter at the Walgreens in Mulberry

I posted a while back that , in my opinion, their attitude is generally rude, at very least, uninterested in the customer. At that time, several people agreed with me and in some cases even amplified on my tone.

Yesterday, I picked up a prescription, and drove away feeling that I was one of those "damned customers" who dared to bother the staff. This wasn't a case of an exchange of brittle words. There were virtually no words, other than the pharmacy tech, who spoke only two words to me, "Five Dollars." I have no idea what the look on his face was because he never made eye contact with me.

It is going to be out of my way, but I fully intend to drive to the one on 27/441 near the hospital.

So, did I talk to the manager ? Not this time.

I refuse to curse the darkness any longer. I am the first to compliment attentiveness and courtesy and the "new" me, is learning how to complain. How will management ever know to correct a problem if they are not told.

TH before you leave, give the store manager a chance to correct the problem.

My comment, "not this time," was meant to indicate that I have had discussions with managment in the past.

TH - I was a sales rep for many years, and Walgreen's was 95% of my territory. I worked closely with the District Managers, and they would be very interested to hear this report. Also, each store has two different managers. There is a store manager and there is a pharmacy manager. The store manager rarely cares about what goes on in the pharmacy, because he/she isn't responsible for that area. They are however responsible for the care of the customers in their store, and would be upset to know that they are losing customers because of their pharmacy. If you really want to take this further, call the district office. Ask the store manager for the phone number of the district office and the name of the district manager.
