Place to stay
 

Does anyone have a favorite place to stay on the Gulf Coast. Looking for a 1 or 2 night stay somewhere between Clearwater and St Pete Beach. Hopefully someplace that is an easy walk out onto the beach as my husband is somewhat disabled

Have stayed at the Beachcomber in St Pete twice. It's right on the coast and very nice.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. They are located directly on the beach however, the beach there is very deep and the length of walk to the water could be too long for your husband.

Check with Clearwater / St. Pete tourist information center regarding beach access for disabled people. In Fenwick Island, Del. the life guards pick up disabled people in a dune buggy at the street edge of the sand and deliver them to a seat on the beach.
