Alzheimer support group
 

I know there are several alzheimer support groups in the area.....any recommendations. I have a friend suffering from that monster disease and need to learn how to communicate with her. Thanks.

We attended the Alzheimer support group/respite group at New Covenant Methodist church and it was unbelievable. Anyone with a family member/friend dealing with this horrible disease should attend this support group as early into the diagnosis as possible. Our caregiver friend found the first session amazingly beneficial and his wife is eager to return to the respite group. We will continue to be weekly attendees. The volunteers are very caring and knowledgeable.
