Update on Classifieds and Political Threads
 

Progress is being made on these problems. Here is where we are now:

The Hide Classified button is working. If you click on the Hide Classified button, the ads disappear. But the button remains Hide Classifieds and clicking it again does not bring the ads back.

When you log in, if you click on New Posts, political threads will not appear. If you click on Quick Links/Today's Posts, they will. So, to keep political threads, and their somewhat edgy titles, out of view, click only on New Posts.

We've been advised of a possible problem with Subscriptions and this has been forwarded to Admin to investigate.

On Edit: Never mind. It's just big, red and very obvious, so I didn't notice...DOH! :oops:

But...when you click on the "New Posts" the ads appear and you have to wait 30 seconds to hide them. What fun!

When I push the "Hide Classified" button, I get a message that says -
"The forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches."
I can still see the ads if I push the back button.

And the classifieds are not working today, first noticed around 10 am (Sunday), sent note to admin, just tried again, still the same problems. So we "see: the ads in the postings, but cannot see the ads in the classified section.

Hope they get these problems fixed soon. These are making the site less user friendly.

Classified is down. Admin has been notified. Use Items for Sale on the main board to post ads.
