Voting for Justices and Judges

Does anyone know of a website where information on Supreme Court Justices and Judges of District Court of Appeals can be found? I would like to have some judicial information of the individuals on the ballot in order to make a more knowledgeable decision. I'm not looking for basic information on these individuals but want to know how tough they are on crime. I'm disturbed to see how many criminals receive light sentences and continue to commit crimes over and over. I would also like to know if they lean to the left, right, or more moderate in their beliefs.

Those are good questions. I wondered that myself and you prompted me to look up this info. As to whether those shown on the ballot are considered liberal or conservative, you can find that information at Political outlook of state supreme court justices - Ballotpedia

Hard to find info on whether any of them are tough on crime.

Since none of them seem to be opposed, what difference does it make?

Justices

I may choose not to vote for a candidate that does not represent my values and sense of justice. My non vote may not make a difference to anyone but myself.

They need at least 50% of the vote to be retained.
