a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

Have you ever seen a country like that?

: an organization or situation in which everyone is treated equally and has equal rights

That sounds like our country.

That is supposed to be America.

The question is are you for or against communism?

There are no countries like Karl Marx envisioned. Maybe a very small group of people could live like that. Some kind of Utopia.

This is like asking if you like unicorns.

I agree, in fact all you have to do to see if this would work is to compare the history of Germany and East Germany. I was in Germany went the wall went down. On a return visit we went to Berlin the stark differences between the cities was amazing. We travelled to East Germany where bombed out buildings from the WW2 still had not be repaired.

We are human and as humans some of us will work hard, some not so hard and some not at all. That is why this type of system will fail!

Is that a trick question? If you are FOR America, then you are NOT for communism.

Yes, there are places where it works. It is the way a kibbutz-community farm in Israel works. It is the rules on a typical commune in the 1960's.

PERHAPS, THE REAL CONCERN IS AND SHOULD BE THAT CARL MARX WHEN ASKED IF WAR WAS NECESSARY FOR COMMUNISM TO TAKE OVER AMERICA. I READ THIS YEARS AGO. WHAT CARL MARX SAID-COMMUNISM WILL NOT TAKE OVER CAPITALISM IN WAR BUT RATHER IT WILL TAKE OVER OUR SCHOOLS-CLEARLY CARL MARX WAS RIGHT.
