Is it just me or is anyone else frustrated with finding their Recreation Center in the Rec News? Why can't they list them alphabetically?

You're not the only one. I really don't know what they're thinking.

There is a reason for how they list them although one might disagree with it. Each regional center has neighborhood centers that are part of their system. So the reason for the listing in the paper is geographic. That is, if you usually go to Colony Regional Rec Center, then the neighborhood centers that are listed near Colony in the paper are those close to Colony. The listing for the regional rec centers in the Rec News starts with the oldest and ends with the newest - Rohan and its satellite centers.

The inside of the front cover gives a directory giving pages for the rec centers.

I was at a meeting with Pam Henry recently and this question was asked. She responded that she has been trying to get this changed for a while, but it's not that easy a change because of the interrelationship between between Regional Rec Centers and Neighborhood Rec centers, as mentioned by a previous poster. As I am often reminded by my wife, the way that I think is the best way might not necessarily shared by everyone else. For now, it's probably best to learn how to use the listing as it is.

Matter of opinion...
The rec center page in the Rec News gives all the regular, scheduled activities...indoor, outdoor, and pools...in an easily read, single location. Want to know whether the Lake Miona pool is open for Combo Swim for a particular day/hour this week? The Rec News Lake Miona Rec Center page tells you.

Good luck finding that almost anywhere else from my experience.
